WELCOME TO THE AD PAGE

California's anti-tobacco ads are designed to help people understand the dangers of smoking and exposure to secondhand smoke, the benefits of quitting and the tobacco industry’s ongoing attempts to hook new customers.

California's anti-tobacco campaign has helped change the way people view tobacco use and has motivated thousands of smokers to quit and many others to never start smoking. Since the state first began its campaign in 1990, smoking has dramatically decreased in California and secondhand smoke exposure has been significantly reduced. (click here for California's Success)

Our current ads deliver the message that we can "undo" tobacco - the addiction, the exposure to secondhand smoke and the tobacco industry's deceptive marketing practices. The campaign includes television, print and radio ads in several languages including English, Spanish, Cantonese, Mandarin, Korean and Vietnamese.
